Did You Know That?

There are lots of short-life (disposable) contact lens options, each a little different. Disposable soft lenses are normally worn for one or two weeks and then discarded. One-day soft contact lenses are worn for a single day, discarded at night, and replaced by a new pair in the morning. Planned replacement soft contact lenses are replaced on a planned schedule, usually monthly or quarterly. Extended-wear contact lenses are usually worn for a specified number of days (overnight) without removal. Check with your eye-care professional to explore what’s right for you.
